Steve has been lobbying in Washington State since 1985 and went on to start his own firm in 1990. He used his MS in Forest products when Plum Creek Timber became his first client after leaving the state timber trade association (WFPA). He later went on to represent Cellular One which later became Cingular and now AT&T Wireless. His reputation for problem solving, understanding of the legislative process, and ability to work both sides of the aisle have served him well. Over the course of his career he has had the opportunity to work on some of the landmark projects and issues in the state including the state Growth Management Act, water rights, the financing of the Seattle Mariners baseball stadium, and the implementation of the affordable care act at the state level.
When not working, Steve enjoys fishing, boating in the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands, bad golf, snowmobiling, Mariner baseball, Husky football, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy has been in sales or sales management for her entire adult life. Starting with Proctor and Gamble out of college, she later moved to Coca Cola as a National Sales Manager Pacific NW region and was the
only woman in the nation at that position. She followed that job to be a District Sales Manager for the Alberto Culver Company managing a five state territory with direct sales reps and brokers. After she married Steve she worked for the Weyerhaeuser Company in Technology Commercialization and Sales for three years.
Steve realized he needed help with his business and Kathy joined the firm in 1995. She learned to temper the hard sell with information delivery. Kathy manages several positions for the firm including lobbying, appointment setting, billing and public disclosure reports. Even though her focus is on Health care issues, she is involved in all aspects of the business.
Kathy has a degree from the University of Washington in Speech Communication and spent her youth Debating and in competitions for Extemporaneous and Impromptu speaking. With sales and debate
experience, lobbying came naturally to her.
When not at work Kathy enjoys walking her Siberian husky, reading books, snowmobiling and boating.
